Pairs of brooches in yellow gold-plated or palladium-plated brass
Limited edition of 100 pairs created created on the occasion of the exhibition Arp, Cahn, Magnelli, Taeuber-Arp. L’arte del dono, Fondazione Marguerite Arp, Locarno, 5 April - 1st November 2026.
«Costellazione in fiore (Constellation in Bloom) is a limited edition of 100 pairs of brooches inspired by the garden of the Fondazione Marguerite Arp and the colours of its flowers. The work is in dialogue with the title of the exhibition L’arte del dono (The Art of Giving) and the chromatic research of Sophie Taeuber-Arp. The term “constellation” refers to Hans Arp’s Constellations, which are sets of autonomous forms that take on meaning through their relationship with each other. The flowers are not represented figuratively, but rather translated into abstract and modular compositions. Each pair consists of two magnetic elements — a main shape and a smaller counterpart — which can be worn together or separately, or given as gifts, thus transforming the brooch into a relational gesture. The brooches are made of yellow gold-plated or palladium-plated brass and enamels, and are designed as a tribute to a living, changing garden.» Eleonora Castagnetta

Pendants; silver 925, yellow gold 9k , red gold 9k
Limited edition of 100 unique pieces created for the exposition Arp. Journey to the East Fondazione Marguerite Arp, Locarno, 9 April - 5 November 2023.
«Jean Arp’s shapes belong to a fantastic, archetypical, universal imagery. A constellation of possibilities. As if they were extrapolated from a language that is visual and primordial. The strongest feeling is that they have always been there.
His xylography, Siamesisches Blatt (1949), struck me deeply: perhaps because I am a plastic artist/designer, that incision was daring me to bend it, in the middle, between the two main elements. Perhaps it was the movement suggested by the composition,
the wood grain displayed on the paper, the deep black ink in contrast with the sheet or the misleading perspective. Everything stimulated in me that manipulation.» Kiko Gianocca

Covered porcelain vase
Limited edition of 100 pieces created on the occasion of the exhibition «I was born in a cloud» Jean Arp, Fondazione Marguerite Arp, Locarno, April 17 - October 30 2022.
«Clouds are a little obsession of mine and to avoid literal choices, with an eye to Jean Arp’s form and a wink at Sophie Taeuber-Arp’s geometries, I drew from my own repertory of curving shapes. This is an architectural cloud, fluid yet solid, a fixed element in space. My signature canary acquires the symbolic meaning of sentinel bird, now joining the flocks finding refuge in the urban oasis of Ronco dei Fiori, home of Jean Arp and Marguerite Arp-Hagenbach in Locarno-Solduno. This small covered vase is meant for a single bloom, but it could evocatively host three.»
