Locarno e Valli Art Weekend 2026. Floral art for Marguerite Arp-Hagenbach

During the Locarno e Valli Art Weekend, the Fondazione is hosting a talk with Verena Pedrotta, Marguerite Arp’s florist. In conversation with the art historian Misia Bernasconi, Verena Pedrotta will guide the audience through the Ronco dei Fiori garden, sharing her in-depth botanical knowledge and her memories of Marguerite Arp-Hagenbach.

Through period photographs, visitors will be able to retrace some of the highlights of Arps social life, which were always enhanced by floral arrangements.

This event is part of a series dedicated to the estate’s garden, where Jean/Hans Arp (1886-1966) and Marguerite Arp-Hagenbach (1902-1994) lived. This special place where nature and art coexist, constitutes a precious heritage that requires constant care, attention and shared responsibility.

The exhibition Arp, Cahn, Magnelli, Taeuber-Arp. L'arte del dono is open until 6 pm. Until 1st November also Saturdays from 2 pm until 6 pm.
